Privacy
The short version: we collect as little as the sale allows, we sell nothing to anybody, and there are no advertising or analytics trackers on this site.
What we hold, and why
- The chart you asked for — place name, coordinates, date, time zone and your optional line of text. They travel with the payment as details of the order, because they are the order: without them the file cannot be rebuilt for your download link.
- Your email address — collected by Stripe at checkout and used to send you the file and to answer you. Nothing else.
- A shipping address — only if you order a printed poster, and only to ship it.
- Anonymous page counts — which page was viewed and which site linked to it. No cookies, no identifiers, nothing that points back to a person.
Who else touches it
- Stripe — payment, card data (we never receive it) and order details.
- Resend — sends the delivery email.
- Prodigi — prints and ships, for printed orders only, and receives the name, address and the file to print.
- Place lookups go to OpenStreetMap's Nominatim as plain text, with no identifier of you attached.
How long
Order details live in Stripe for as long as Stripe keeps them, which also keeps your download link working. Ask us to delete an order and we do, knowing the link dies with it.
