A remembrance star map for a date that mattered
A remembrance print is hard to buy because most of them tell you how to feel. This one does not: it states a place, a date and the stars that stood over it, and leaves the rest to whoever is looking at it.
People choose different moments — the last evening, a birthday, the day of the funeral, or an ordinary night from years before that the family remembers for its own reasons. Any of them can be drawn.
The chart carries one short line of text and no ornament. It is a dark sheet with the real sky on it, which is usually what is wanted in a hallway.

The line of text
A name and a year is enough: “For Dad — 1949–2021”. It is set small under the chart, not across it.
Questions people ask
Can I leave the line of text empty?
Yes. Without it the chart shows only the place, the date and the sky, which many people prefer for this one.
Will it look like a novelty print?
It is black and white on a dark ground: stars sized by real magnitude, a horizon circle, the place and the moment in small type. There is no zodiac wheel, no gradient sunburst and no invented constellation art.
Can I have the same sky for two different places?
Make one for each — the horizon really does differ, and two charts of the same instant from two cities are visibly different drawings. Each is $4.99.
